SoFIA Community Services…

The SoFIA Community Services help veterans and military families access health care services and improve their capacity for independence. Through our RSVP program, volunteers serve at Broward’s VA clinics, provide patient enrollment in My HealtheVet, and support specialty labs such as the dental clinic, physical therapy, and social work. RSVP volunteers also provide supportive services to community centers such as serving meals, facilitating activities, and supporting administration. RSVP volunteers have served over 1200 veterans, military families, and community residents this year alone.

These services are available to most all families however, we like to have services that focus on our veterans and their families in order to make sure they are receiving the help they need.
