SoFIA knows how important it is for older adults to be able to use technology. From sending emails, to video chat, to online doctors appointments, our world is becoming ever more technology-reliant. SoFIA Tech helps train and prepare seniors to be able to use these tools, while reducing social isolation through the an interactive educational environment.

SoFIA Tech Services are designed to strengthen the social and economic well-being of seniors in our community by teaching basic to intermediate computer skills to use in their everyday lives. Seniors in south Florida receive training through weekly classes, individualized support through Help Desk assistance, and through our famous monthly Tech Talk workshops. Most services are provided by seniors for seniors and enhance the lives of those receiving tech advice as much as those providing it. Over 300 senior adults receive services on a yearly basis.
